Millbrook's range of track and lab facilities enables manufacturers to gain advantages from Millbrook's single location.
Motorhome and Caravan manufacturers have taken advantage of this unique location and demonstrated Millbrook's diverse range of capabilities by offering their latest designs for objective evaluation.
Utilising the range of Millbrook's test tracks, including the unique Hill Route, Potholes, Pave and Twist Humps to provide structural inputs, Millbrook can simulate customer usage to evaluate the structural integrity. To better understand the spectrum of structural inputs, acceleration values of loads transferred into the motorhome or caravan's chassis can be gained through instrumentation and analysis. We also conduct thermal testing in the VTEC (Variable Temperature Emissions Chamber), which enables certification to Thermal Test Grade 3 (EN 1645-1:2004).
Millbrook's resident VCA and homologation team can provide full support and witnessed tests to allow for full type approval requirements to meet current and future legislation and directives applicable to caravans and motorhomes.
Millbrook provides a picturesque backdrop for activities such as photo-shoots, press days and product launches. The testing and media activities are complementary to each other having utilised the same single location.
