Our pendulum fitted with the hemispherical impact face for ECE R21 & R25 & equivalents is available at short notice to carry out interior fittings tests to worldwide legislative standards
Free Motion Headform Impact
Our Free Motion Headform Impact System is the first of its kind in Europe and benefits from a computer assisted positioning, firing and data analysis suite of equipment. This is the third interior head impact system that has been used at Millbrook and was custom built for us utilising all of our previous experience of free motion headform testing for clients from all over the world.
The system is extremely flexible permitting rapid test set-up and repositioning while the compact launcher allows access into the vehicle with minimal modification (usually removing the doors is sufficient). Digital high speed cameras and Kayser-Threde MiniDAU data acquisition means results are available immediately after test.
